About MAPCON 2024
IEEE Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation Conference, MAPCON-2024 will take place from December 09 – 13, 2024, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad, India. This is the third edition of MAPCON, a joint flagship conference of IEEE MTT and IEEE AP societies in India, held in-person. It serves as an international platform for showcasing cutting-edge research and technologies in microwaves and antennas, featuring prominent experts sharing their insights and knowledge.
MAPCON-2024 will include technical sessions, invited talks, workshops, tutorials, special sessions, student design competitions, industry sessions, exhibits, professional meetings, tours, and networking events. The event will also feature activities for Ph.D. students, Young Professionals, Women-in-Engineering, SIGHT, and start-up initiatives.
MAPCON began in 2022 in Bangalore with 600+ papers and 800 delegates, growing to over 900 delegates in 2023 in Ahmedabad, with significant industry sponsorship. In 2024, we anticipate over 1000 participants, alongside a grand exhibition featuring product launches from leading RF/Microwave and antenna industries.
This five-day event will attract participants from around the world, including delegates from the USA, Europe, UK, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and major Indian research organizations like ISRO, BARC, and DRDO, as well as Indian academic institutes, start-ups, industries, and students.
